Wavelength Conversion for 2.5Gbit/s, Return to Zero Optical Pulse over 20nm Based on Nonlinear Optical Loop Mirror

利用光纤非线性环路镜成功地将２．５Ｇｂｉｔ／ｓ的归零码光脉冲变换了２０ｎｍ的距离。在最佳波长变换处对变换信号进行了１小时的误码测量，采用２２３－１伪随机码序列，误码为１．３×１０－１４。信号光和探测光脉冲宽度分别为２８ｐｓ和３７ｐｓ，中心波长分别为１５３３ｎｍ和１５５３ｎｍ。

The wavelength of 2.5Gbit/s RZ optical pulse is successfully converted over 20nm based on nonlinear optical loop mirror. With PRBS of 2 23 -1, the bit error rate is 1.3×10 -14 at the optimal conversion after one hour error measurement. The widths of the initial signal optical pulse and the probe optical pulse are 28ps and 37ps, and the related center wavelengths are 1533nm and 1553nm, respectively.
