On Du Heng's Literary Criticisms in the Magazine Modern

作为20世纪30年代著名的批评家和作家,因为所持的文学立场与当时及后来的主流文学观相异,杜衡(苏汶)一直被视为反面的对象而受到指责,但对他的具体的文学主张和批评实践的研究却付之阙如。本文从他在《现代》杂志中所发表的重要的批评文章入手,对他的文学主张、批评观、批评方式和批评风格进行细致的分析,以对其做出比较公正的评价。

Du Heng （pen name： Su Wen） was a famous critic and writer in the 1930s. He had been censured from then on as a negative character since his literary views couldn＇t keep step with the mainstream views. As a result, there are few studies on his literary views. This paper tries to study his criticisms in detail, and evaluates his achievement in the literary criticism.
