马革裹尸何处还——马援征武陵蛮殁地新考

New Study of the Dead Place of Ma Yuan

东汉伏波将军马援南征武陵蛮,病死军中,后当地形成广泛的马援崇拜民俗。通常认为马援身故之处是沅水壶头山,今据史料考证及民间采访,认为应是澧水上游的张家界天门山。

During general Ma Yuan of Eastern Han Dynasty went on the punitive expedition to Wulingman,he dead in the army. Afterwards,a custom of worshipping Ma Yuan by the local folks was widely formed. Generally the death place of Ma Yuan was considered to be Hutoushan mountain,while nowadays, according to historical textual research and private interviews,the place should be Tianmenshan,Zhangjiajie city,the upper reaches of Lishui River.
