A Two-Sector Model with Capital Accumulation and Health Generation

摘要本文主要在一个两部门经济中研究了健康的产生、物质资本积累和经济增长之间的动态关系。本文的研究表明,健康生产函数的具体形式直接影响着经济的动态行为。在一些情况下,经济中存在物质资本积累和健康产生之间相互影响的周期性变化关系,在另一些情况下,经济中会存在多重均衡。本文最后还讨论了收入税和消费税对经济增长的影响。 This paper studies the relationship between health generation,capital accumulation,and economic growth.We set up a two-sector model with capital accumulation and health generation.For the specified utility and production functions,we derive the cyclical relationship between the capital accumulation and the health generation.We also show the existence of multiple steady states for the capital stock.The effects of income tax and consumption tax on growth are investigated.In contrast to traditional models,consumption tax affects the long-run capital stock.
