The main features,influencing factors and properties of 475℃ brittlement in duplex stainless steels were reviewed.The contents include as follows: mechanism and kinetics of phase α′ precipitation;effects of alloying elements,deformation and thermal history on phase α′ precipitation;effects of phase α′ precipitation on mechanical properties,corrosion resistance and curie temperature of duplex stainless steel.
