摘要
大学英语四级考试已成为我国最普遍、最权威的英语水平考核标准。在实践的检验中,为了更好的服务于大学英语教育的目的,新的改革轰轰烈烈地展开了。但其本身还存在很多的弊端,只有将其改造成为有效的具有民族品牌的大学水平考试,并实行教考分离,才能使我国的大学英语教学和测试良性发展。
CET 4 have been the most common and authorized tests of students' English proficiency. After many years of practice, new reform has been taken in CET 4 for the purpose of serving the college English education better. The author analyzed the aspects of the reform and studied the requirements the new CET 4 and CET 6 have on classroom teaching, However, there are a lot of shortcomings, and only transformed into a national brand of effective university--level examinations, and the implementation of separation of teaching and testing in order to make positive development of college English teaching .
