工程总承包项目管理是深化我国工程建设项目组织实施方式改革，提高工程建设管理水平，保证工程质量和投资效益，规范建筑市场秩序的重要措施，工程总承包项目通常都是大型或特大型的工程，工程的成功与否，起决定作用的是工程总承包项目管理。21世纪的世界经济格局是经济全球化已经成为基本趋势。在这种形势下，是否能同国际工程承包和管理方式接轨，直接决定我国工程总承包项目管理的成败。本文通过对工程总承包项目管理的重要性的分析，总结我国工程总承包项目管理中存在的问题，并有针对性查找存在问题的原因，全面、真实地反映我国工程总承包项目管理的整体状况．为不断提高我国工程总承包项目的管理管理水平提供可靠的依据。

Project management plays an important and decisive role in deepening management model reform, raising construction manage- ment level, and assure project quality and investment efficiency. Engineering general contract usually is large-scale and super large scale. The purpose of this research is to present some comprehensive countermeasures by analyzing of the importance of Project Manage- ment in General Contracting Construction, and eventually provide a reliable basis for our overall project management.
