Flow Field outside Estuary of the Yellow River and Its Characteristics

通过实测海流资料分析,得到以下认识:①黄河口外流场基本特征是流速等值线构成封闭型辐散中心;②神仙沟口外的强流区是潮汐特性决定的,是长期稳定的高流速场;③黄河径流注入,河口淤积延伸,可以导致流场强化,甚至形成新的高流速辐散中心系统。本成果为加大排沙入海和流路规划提供了科学依据。

On the basis of analysing data observed in the flow field outside the estuary of the Yellow River, the characteristics of the flow field can be summarized as follows. 1) The isovels of flow in the field are close and form a divergence net work. 2) The flow field outside Shenxiangoukou (the former estuary of the river) had been ever a steady field with high velocity of flow in a long time. 3) The flow from the river and extension of sedimentation outside the estuary can result in intensifying of the flow field, even form a divergence network with high velo city of flow.The conclusions drawn from the study provide scientific basis for in creasing sediment transportation into the sea and planning the flow route of the river.
