The development and training of the book editors concern the sustained development of the publishing industry. With regard to the common issues in the nurturing editors, this paper puts forward and maintains that talent-oriented conception be firmly held, talents be given adequate respect and care, the principle of managing the talents with systems be strictly adhered to, the systems be executed with flexible and diversified means, scientific mechanism be stuck to in selecting the talents, talents be boldly employed, scientifically evaluated and properly trained, and the editing teams be set up with appropriate structure.
