Research on Architecture for Fixed-Mobile Convergence Based on IMS

本文首先介绍了IP多媒体子系统及业务交付平台的分层架构,指出IMS与SDP的组合有助于运营商增加多种系列业务,然后描述了中国电信ISAG与ISMP的架构及主要功能,重点分析了引入IMS对当前中国电信的移动业务网络架构的影响,最后给出了一种基于IMS的固定—移动融合架构。

In this paper, we first introduce the layered architectures of service delivery platform （SDP） and IP multimedia system （IMS） and point out that the combination of IMS and SDP is very helpful for telecom operators to increase the services portfolio. Then we describe the architectures of two important platforms of China Telecom —— integrated service access gateway （ISAG） and integrated service management platform （ISMP） and their important functions, and particularly analyze the influence to the architecture of telecom mobile service network when China Telecom introduces IMS. Finally, we present an architecture for fixed-mobile convergence based on IMS.
