Multipolarity Development of the International Monetary System

现存的国际货币体系建立在信用货币制度之上,浮动汇率制能较好地反映一国经济盛衰和国际资本的流动,但是多元化的国际储备货币不能代表各国经济利益,甚至可能加剧风险与经济的失衡。随着全球经济一体化发展,建立区域性的货币同盟,形成多极化的势均力敌的国际储备货币更有利于国际间的公平竞争与合作,有利于贸易的自由和资源要素的自由流动,从而促进全球经济的均衡发展。

The existing international monetary system is based upon the fiat monetary system. The floating exchange rate mechanism can be used to reflect economy strength of a country and the flow of international capital as well, but when international reserve currency can not represent the interests of various countries, it would increase the risk and imbalance the economy. With the development of global economy integration, it is helpful for free trade and distribution of resource to establish some local monetary unions. It is beneficial to develop the world economy in a balanced manner.
