CEO's Character and Listed Companies's Market Performance

通过梳理相关文献,我们把企业家特质归结为教育背景、政治背景、从业经验三个方面,分析了企业家特质对企业市场表现的影响,发现具有高学历背景的CEO所掌管的企业的市场表现反而不好,具有低学历背景和其他企业高管从业背景的CEO,在上任初期更倾向于负债融资,但长期并没有增加企业的负债率。具有政治背景的CEO对企业市场表现的影响不显著,但从长期看,具有政治背景的CEO增加了企业的负债率。

Based on previous studies, this paper divides the CEO＇s backgrounds into three parts,education background, political background and work experience and anylyzes the logical relation between eorporates＂ market performance and CEO＇s background. The author finds that CEOs with higher education can＇t improve the competitiveness of enterprises, and also finds that CEOs with top managers experience are not likely improve enterprise＇s debt ratio while those who have govement work experience are more likely to improve enterprise＇s debt.
