Business Ethics and Social Justice in the Era of Globalization

经济全球化使得世界工商业活动空前地联系在一起,成为命运共同体,也使得商业伦理的意义带上全球的性质。分别发生在20世纪末的东亚和2008年的美国乃至西方世界的金融危机突显了商业信用对于经济秩序的重要性,人为制造的金融泡沫有可能摧毁经济的根基,破坏经济发展的成果,任何人、任何国家都可能受其伤害。同样,实物产品本身的质量和安全,以及商业广告和交易中的诚信永远是商业伦理首要的因素。中国在市场经济改革、接受全球化的过程中,一直存在并且致力于克服商业伦理上的诸多问题。强化国际和国内商业诚信,确立普遍贸易准则,实现社会公正,是今天经济全球化中各国政府和民众都需要付出艰苦努力才能实现的任务。

Economic globalization has bound industrial and commercial activities in the world together, has made people in the planet a community of common fortune and business ethics of global significance. Financial crises that happened respectively in East Asia at the end of the 20th century and in US and Western world in 2008, have given prominence of business credit to economic order. Financial bubbles created by businessmen can damage economic foundation and ruin achievements of economic and social development, and anyone, any country can be their victims. Meanwhile, quality and safety of physical products and honesty in commercial advertisement and trade are always the most important element in business ethics. In the process of market economic reform and embrace of globalization, China has been confronted with many problems in business ethics, and has been making great efforts to resolve them. Strengthening credit in international and domestic business, setting up universal rules for trade, achieving social justice, are a task that all the people and countries in the world should face and strive to realize.
