Controversy in the prevalence of primary aldosteronism in the hypertentive population remains,which has become a hot topic in the clinical practice.Based on recent researching on the prevalence of primary aldosteronism,the review article analyzed the causes of controversy,and explored some major problems in screening and diagnosing primary aldosteronism,finally suggested how to solve such problems.
