当今体育全球化,在很大程度上表现为奥林匹克文化的全球化,其强势扩展对少数民族传统体育文化认同与适应形成了前所未有的挑战。适应体育全球化的基本要求和发展趋势,文章通过SWOT分析法探讨了少数民族传统体育文化生存和发展的优势和劣势、机遇与危机;分析了少数民族传统体育文化与奥林匹克文化走向融合的可能性;提出在全球化语境下少数民族传统体育文化传承策略有科学、合理地支持和宣传少数民族传统体育、加强理论研究。在保持民族风格的前提下,对民族传统体育做适当的加工、改造、要不失时机地加大少数民族传统体育的发展力度,构建多元化投入机制,同时要有计划、有步骤建立和完善一批集培训和训练为一体的民族体育项目基地等。
