Expression of Paxillin in gastric cancer and its clinical significance

目的探讨Paxillin在胃癌组织中的表达及其与胃癌临床病理特征之间的关系。方法采用免疫组织化学法检测Paxillin在55例胃癌组织和20例正常胃切缘组织中的表达。结果①Paxillin蛋白在胃癌组织中阳性率为67.27%(37/55),在正常胃切缘组织中阳性率20.00%(4/20),两组间差异具有统计学意义(P<0.01)。②Paxillin阳性表达在不同肿瘤直径间、不同组织分化程度、不同胃癌浸润深度、不同TNM分期及是否有淋巴结转移间,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05),而在不同性别、年龄间差异无统计学意义(均P>0.05)。结论 Paxillin在胃癌组织中呈高表达,检测Paxillin蛋白的表达有助于评价胃癌患者的预后,对于胃癌手术的根治范围及术后化疗也有一定的指导意义。

Objective To investigate the expression of Paxillin in gastric cancer and its significance. Methods Expression of Paxillin in 50 cases of gastric cancer and 20 cases of normal gastric tissues was detected by immunohistochemistry staining.χ2 and Fisher exact probability test were used to analyze the data.There was a statistical significance when P〈0.05. Results The positive expression rate of Paxillin in gastric cancer was 67.27%（37/55）,significantly higher than that in the normal gastric tissues（20.00%,P〈0.05）.The expression of Paxillin in gastric cancer was significantly correlated with the tumor size,the Borrmann＇s type,the depth of invasion,TNM stages,and the lymph node metastasis（P〈0.05）. Conclusion Paxillin is over-expressed in gastric cancer tissue.Paxillin can be used as a useful factor in predicting the prognosis of gastric cancer,and also a marker to guide the gastric cancer surgery and the postoperative chemotherapy.
