This paper discusses from more than one side the beauty of King Lear,one of Shakespeare＇s four famous major tragedies.It bases its beauty on analysis in such three aspects：the tragedy,the humanity and the harmony in this masterpiece.And it analyzes Shakespeare＇s eulogizing the true,the good and the beautiful in human nature,the yearning for a harmonious society,and tries to interpret the unique beauty in this masterpiece in new and varied lights.
