摘要
听力理解一直是困扰大学英语学习者的主要问题之一,如何有效地提高学生的听力理解水平是英语教师在不断探索的课题。认知心理学理论认为,人们在理解、吸收输入信息时需要对新输入信息进行解码和编码,编码必须与大脑中的图式网相匹配才能完成信息处理。本文试图阐明如何将认知心理学理论应用在大学英语听力教学上,优化听力教学模式,并提出具体建议和做法。
Listening comprehension is one of the issues disturbing college students.How to improve students'listening skill is what English teachers are exploring continuously.Cognitive psychologists hold that during the process of understanding and absorbing input information,students have to code and decode the information,and coding should be matched with the scheme existing in mind so as to accomplish information handling.This study attempts to put the theory of cognitive psychology into the practical teaching of college English listening and to offer specific suggestions on how to optimize the listening instruction patterns.
