On the Rapid Development of Chinese Universities:A Review of the Summit Forum on the Development and Organizational Reform of University

大学发展与组织变革高峰论坛(2010),以国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要即将出台为契机,立足于探索建设适合中国国情的现代大学制度,着眼于大学变革的内在逻辑,对大学学科组织建设、大学组织变革的路径与方法、大学行政化与大学治理结构的完善等问题进行了富有积极意义的讨论。

The Summit forum on the Development and Organizational Reform of University was held on the eve of the publication of the National Outline for Medium and Long Term Educational Reform and Development（2010-2020）.The forum focuses on the establishment of modern university system with Chinese characteristics,based on the logic of university itself and the institutional environment in China.The following topics are addressed in the forum： the development of university disciplinary organization,the approaches to the organizational reform of university,the administrativization of university and the improvement of governance structure in university.
