摘要
根据耦合波理论,对8 mm波段TE01-TE11模式变换器的几何结构进行了优化分析,得到了最优几何参量。用仿真软件优化设计了同一波段TE11-HE11模式变换器。数值计算和仿真结果表明这两个模式变换器组成的TE01-HE11模式变换系统在30.5 GHz和3%带宽内具有99.0%以上的TE01-HE11模式转化效率。热测试验结果表明该系统具有良好的模式变换性能。
The geometry of the 8 mm band TE01-HEll mode converter with the improved waveguide axis sinusoidal curvature of the gyroklystron was modeled and numerically calculated on the basis of the mode coupling theory for the pur- pose of structure design optimization. And a novel TE01-HE11 mode converter was simulated and designed with the software package HFSS. The calculated and simulated results show that the transformation efficiency of the TE01-HE11 mode con- version system,made-up of these two converters,can be higher than 99% within 3% of the bandwidth at 30.5 GHz. The hot test data indicate that satisfactory conversion of the TE01-HE11 mode can be obtained.
