In order to further strengthen the enforcement of and compliance with the ISM Code, effectively assist vessels to get prepared for receiving Port State Control inspection and avoid detentiou or severe penalty to the maximum extent, this paper focuses on SMS inspection key points, the related documents and records, based on the experience of several vessels in receiving the Port State Control inspection on ISM in recent years.
