摘要 E·波琳·约翰逊是美洲大陆第一位出版自己诗集的土著女诗人,也是加拿大有名的莫霍克人公主。波琳对加拿大文学走进世界起到了积极推进的作用,同时,她的特殊身份也让白人开始"凝视"印第安人。波琳诗歌中的独木舟意象,内涵丰富,意义深远,展现了女诗人对国家、民族身份、个人理想的美好愿望和复杂情绪。
