源语理解和译语产生的心理过程——从实验心理语言学看翻译性质

Psychological Process of Understanding Source Language and Producing Target Language

本文根据实验心理语言学对言语理解和产生的描述,提出翻译是一个理解源语和产生译语的连续性心理过程,认为该过程与言语理解和产生的过程相似:从辨认源语,建立源语意义,到产生表述动机,形成语义初迹,进而转化为内部言语并最终诉诸于外部言语(即译语)。

This paper, based on the description of language comprehension and production from the perspective of laboratory psychological linguistics, aims to propose that translation is a continuous psychological process which absorbs the source language and produces the target language. This process bears similarities with the one of language comprehension and production：identify the source language and establish the meaning, develop the motivation for expression, create the original semantic meaning, and transform it into internal language and finally form the external language （the target language）.
