电流模DAC分段与非线性误差分析

摘要 探讨了对电流模DAC的分段结构及分段方式,介绍了温度计码和二进制码结构的优缺点,对两种结构在INL、DNL及面积之间的关系给出了定量分析.在此基础上推导了n-bit电流模DAC在给定的不同INL、DNL误差情况下所需的面积.最后给出了确定最优分段比例的一般方法. The segmentation architecture of current steering DAC is discussed in this paper. The advantages and shortcomings of binary weighted DAC and thermometer-coded DAC are introduced respectively. An analysis on relationship of INL,DNL and required area is done for n-bit segmented current steering DAC. Based on the analysis,the required area of the DAC for different given INL and DNL is deduced.The process to have the optimum segmentation of n-bit current steering DAC is discussed.
