试析《说文解字注》对同义词研究的不足

Inadequacy of the Research on Synonyms in Annotation to Origin of Chinese Characters

段玉裁的《说文解字注》在同义词研究方面取得了很大成就,但也存在一些不足之处。概括起来,大致有:有些同义词在聚合上缺乏系统性,二词辨异居多;有的古/今类同义词辨析不够精密、准确;过于拘泥旧注;认定的有些"义同"字并非同义词,而是古今字或假借字;"浑言/析言"术语有时并不是辨析同义词,容易给人造成一种误解。

Annotation to Origin of Chinese Characters, complied by Duan Yucai, is the great book in synonyms, but it has its inadequacy. Hence, the following five aspects are to be checked. First it is unsystematic in paradigm, second it is inadequacy in ancient and modern eategories of synonyms, third it is confined to the old annotation, fourth there are some so-called synonyms to be ancient and modern characters or loanwords, and fifth there are the terms Hunyan or Xiyan not referring to the synonyms.
