The Negative Influences of Chinese Thinking Patterns on English Writing

英汉写作模式有诸多不同,汉语写作模式对学生的英语写作会产生负面影响、文章阐述了汉语写作模式对学生英语写作负面影响的三个具体表现,并且提出克服负面影响,写出地道英语文章的具体措施。

Based on teaching practice and the discrepancies of the oriental and occidental modes of thinking, this paper analyzes the various drawbacks in the College English writings caused by the negative transfer of the oriental mode of thinking. It is hoped that the analysis will make students aware of the discrepancies so as to model them on the occidental thinking and compose idiomatic English writings.
