摘要
非言语交际是交际过程中不可缺少的组成部分,它传递了人们交际活动中的绝大部分信息。目前大学英语课堂教学往往忽略了非言语交际策略的使用,造成教学效果不佳。本文探讨非言语交际在课堂教学中的必要性及意义,并针对几种主要非言语交际类型进行探讨,阐释其传递的文化信息,并提出相应的教学建议,以促进英语课堂的交际与互动,提高教学质量。
Nonverbal communication conveys a vast majority of information and plays an indispensable role in human communicative activities. However, one of the main reasons for low efficiency in college English teaching is the neglecting of nonverbal communication in daily classroom teaching. This paper deals with the necessity and importance of utilizing nonverbal communication strategies in college English teaching and examines the four categories of nonverbal communication. The author aims to offer tentative suggestions on how to adopt these strategies with the purpose of facilitating communication and interaction in class and further enhancing college English teaching quality.
