宋陶岳《零陵总记》辑补

COLLECTION OF THE GENERAL NOTE OF LINGLING BY TAO YUE

北宋陶岳《零陵总记》十五卷,为记述唐代湖南南部零陵旧地景观名胜与文人轶事的最早一部专书,宋及明代频见徵引,明以后散佚不见。清陈运溶辑佚七条,今人王晓天增补一条,共八条,仍有未尽。兹略为辑补,共得三十六条,合并条目编为二十九条,聊补史之阙文。

The General Note OfLingting （零陵总记） written by a Song Dynasty＇s writer Taoyue （陶岳） includes fifteen volumes and is one of the earliest monograph describing landscape attractions and scholars＇ anecdotes of the Southern part of Hunan, Lingling in Tang Dynasty. This monograph was frequently quoted during Song and Ming Dynasty, but scattered after Ming Dynasty. Seven paragraphs were collected by Chen Yunrong of Qing Dynasty and another one was added by Wang Xiaotian, however it was still uncompleted. Through roughly being collected, it contained thirty-six paragraphs and was adapted into twenty nine paragraphs.
