The land agent of Hetao area was an important group who acted actively in Hetao exploitation history in the late Qing dynasty.They dominated the process of the Hetao exploitation before government intervention.Their appearance broke up the bottlenecks of the exploitation in Hetao area,and then the large scale development of this area went into a new era.The development of the land agent and land agent economy accelerated the process of the exploitation,and finally leads to the end of nomadic history of the Hetao area.
