英汉指示语的语用差异及其原因建构——基于英语诗歌及其汉译中指示语的对比分析

Pragmatic Differences of Deixis in English and Chinese & the Underlying Reasons——Based on the Comparative Analysis of Deixis in English Poems & the Chinese Translations

英语诗歌及其汉译中指示语的使用表现为对等使用、非对等使用、英语中使用指示语而汉译中无指示语、英语中无指示语而汉译中使用指示语等四种情况。英汉指示语语用差异产生的根源在于英汉语言实现衔接和连贯的方式不同,指示信息表达的差异,语言差异,以及两个民族的不同思维习惯和文化差异等。

By analyzing the deixis in English poems and their Chinese translations,it is found out that there are four modes of uses of deixis：equivalent use;non-equivalent use;the use of deixis in English with its gap in Chinese;and the use of deixis in Chinese with its gap in English.The reasons for the differences between deixis in English and Chinese lie in the following aspects：different ways to achieve cohesion and coherence;various deictic expressions;linguistic differences;and different thinking modes and cultures in English and Chinese.
