摘要
海明威《老人与海》一直为批评家所倾爱,但评述者多从桑地亚哥的硬汉形象和悲剧性格、小说的叙述风格等切入,其实作为最能体现作者"冰山原则"的力作,小说主题繁复多样。如果从生态伦理批评审视,管窥其中所隐含的人与自然关系的认识,可以发现作者从思考人在社会面前应该保持的行为方式到强调人作为高级生物应承担的责任,这在生态问题日趋严重的今天,特别具有警示性。
From the point of view of ecological logic,we know that Hemkngway＇s The old Man and The Sea reveals the relationship between man and nature,human behavior and social responsibility in society.
