On the Arts Disclosing Character's Spiritual World in Woolf's Novels

Woolf thought that traditional novels could only show the outer objective world instead of mordern westerners＇ complicated stream of consciousness. She tried to develop new field of novel and focused on character＇s spiritul field. She disclosed the mordern people＇s spiritual world by using music sound, space montage and impressionism. Woolf＇s writing practice showed the birth of a new kind of none-narrative novel and broadened the developing space for novel.
