高职院校实施通识教育的实践探索——以武汉职业技术学院为例

Practice & Reflection of Genernal Education in Higher Vocational Colleges——Taking Wuhan Polytechnic as a Case

通识教育作为专业教育有益和必要的补充,是高职院校人才培养的必然要求。武汉职业技术学院以转变观念为突破口、以制度建设为保障、以课外活动为补充、以文化氛围营造为目标,通过为期三年的实践探索,积累了一定的实践经验,同时也针对面临的困境提出了思考和建议。

General education should be a compulsory part of vocational education as it is a natural demand of talents training in higher vocational colleges. Wuhan Polytechnic has accumulated some practical experience by taking changing of concepts as a breakthrough,constructing proper system as guarantee,introducing various forms of extra-curricular activities,creating cultural environment in campus,in a period of 3 years. This paper also puts forward some suggestions and recommendation according to its predicament.
