Study on Sample size of Multi-Vari Control Chart based on Confidence Interval of Mean

传统的休哈特控制图只能用来控制单一变异来源,质量特征值来自多个变异来源时,必须应用多变异源控制图。多变异源控制图的样本容量可能包含两个参数,因此需要新的方法来确定样本容量,根据统计学原理,提出一种利用控制量的置信区间来估计多变异源控制图样本容量的方法。

Traditional Shewhart control charts can only be used for process that exhibit single source of variation,while process with various sources of variation needs multi-vari control charts. The new methods need to be considered to computer sample size of the multi-vari control charts. The paper provides a method to sample size by estimating confidence intervals for mean of control charts.
