Listening is an important link in the teaching of the pianon, the basis of undertanding piano works, and is significant in further improving piano playing. Starting from listening, the paper discusses the neecesity of listening in piano playing, the function of involved in its necessity, the functions of lisening and/low to listen. As long as listening with intent attention, more progresses will definitely be made in piano playing.
