摘要
首先分析了美国大学传统院系结构惰性与跨学科研究合作困境形成的原因;然后分析促成跨学科研究合作的组织保障,并借鉴两栖型组织理论分析美国大学内部成立的独立于传统院系结构之外的跨学科研究组织;最后分析总结这种组织顺利开展跨学科研究合作的运行机制。研究表明,美国大学传统院系结构特点决定了大学依靠传统院系进行跨学科研究合作的局限性,大学自设的跨学科研究组织的成功运行有效地实现了知识创新。
In this paper,we analyze the causes of the inertia of traditional departments and the plight of interdisciplinary research collaboration in American universities.Secondly,we analyze the guarantee of the organization to promote interdisciplinary research collaboration,and the established organization of interdisciplinary research outside the structure of traditional departments within American universities drawing on the theory of ambidextrous organization.Finally,we analyze the organization’s operating mechanism which smoothly promotes interdisciplinary research collaboration.It has shown that the structural features of traditional departments lead to the limitations of traditional departments’promoting interdisciplinary research collaboration.The successful operation of university self-established interdisciplinary research organization effectively achieves knowledge innovation.
