摘要
象似性理论对于索绪尔的语言任意性理论是一个有力的补充,对英语教学有着重要的指导作用。这种象似性也存在于英语词汇系统中,给教师在词汇教学方面提供了一个新的视角。从词源、语音、形态和语义等方面的规定及其分析,来探讨英语词汇的象似性在教学中的应用。
Iconicity Theory is a meaningful supplement to Saussure's Arbitrariness Theory and gives some instructions to English Teaching.The phenomenon of iconicity also exists in English vocabulary level,which provides a new angle for vocabulary teaching.The article tries to discuss iconicity from the stipulation and analysis of etymology,phonology,morphology and semantics of words and its application to vocabulary teaching.
