斑岩型金矿是我国第三重要的金矿类型，但目前对其认识程度远不如其他类型金矿，尤其关于它的亚类划分。依据斑岩金的共生元素或组合及矿石类型，将斑岩型金矿划分为三个亚类：伴生斑岩型金矿、共生斑岩型金矿和独立斑岩型金矿。斑岩型金矿的成矿“深度相”目前认识不一。笔者认为，其主体在近地表—浅成（近地表１．５ｋｍ）范围内。我国独立斑岩型金矿的矿质硫和铅，其主体与和它们时空相随、成因相关的火成岩同源，属壳幔混合源或下地壳源。
