Cultivating the World-known Tourist Destinationand Serving the Construction of the Economic Zone on the West Coast of the Taiwan Straits

根据《国务院关于支持福建省加快建设海峡西岸经济区的若干意见》中"充分发挥海峡西岸经济区的自然和文化资源优势,增强武夷山、闽西南土楼、鼓浪屿等景区对两岸游客的吸引力,拓展闽南文化、客家文化、妈祖文化等两岸共同文化内涵,突出"海峡旅游"主题,使之成为国际知名的旅游目的地和富有特色的自然文化旅游中心"的战略定位,提出打造福建旅游品牌,服务海西经济建设若干建议。

According to the plan of ＂Several Opinions Concerning Support Fujian Province for the More Rapid Establishment of Economic Zone on the West Coast of Taiwan Strait＂ by Chinese State Council,We must give full play to natural and cultural resources of Economic Zone on the West Coast of Taiwan Straits,enhance the attraction of Wu yi Mountain,Southwest Fujian Tulou,Gulangyu and other scenic spots for tourists on both sides of Taiwan Straits,explore Taiwan Residents culture,Hakka culture,and the Matsu culture,and cross-strait common cultural connotation,highlight the ＂Straits travel ＂theme,making it an internationally renowned tourist destination and the distinctive nature of cultural tourism center.This paper discusses how to cultivate the world-known tourist destination and serve the construction of the economic zone on the west coast of Taiwan Straits.
