The developer conference of digital, electronic giant Apple Inc. will be held on June 7 in San Francisco, California. Apple's CEO Steve Jobs will attend to deliver a speech. The tickets were sold out eight days before the event and over 5,000 Apple developers are attracted. Developers play a key role in the ecosystem of software companies. They use software and develop various applications based on it, thus broadening software utilities and bringing values to the companies. Apple's App Store is the largest online application platform right now with over 200,000 developers working on it. The prosperity of the applications in turn promotes the sales of Apple's mobile products. Internet search engine Google is also chasing Apple behind with its own application store, Android Marekt. But the software in the Android Market is free of charge and Google shares with developers the profits from advertisement. Handset giant Nokia also set up an application store. Last year, it not only opened a developer conference but launched a fund to encourage developers in China. As smart mobile terminals popularize, a war for developers kicked off in the mobile Internet sector. As a large amount of developers are emerging, their choices of platforms and their achievements will decide which mobile Internet platform will succeed in the future.
