On Zhou Bangyan's Taoist Complex and His Creation

周邦彦一生同道教有着千丝万缕的联系。他长期飘零州县,疲惫、困顿,渴望精神上的超脱。在溧水,受时代和风俗的影响,他开始崇奉道教。周邦彦对道教的精神追求主要体现在对长生不老和自在逍遥的向往两个方面;其审美取向在道教情结的影响之下,体现出尚"清"的意识,营造出清真高雅的美学世界;周邦彦还驰骋奇特想象、开拓新的境界,但他并非一味的沉浸于想象的世界,他的情感指向始终是现世的、冷静的、克制的,带有感伤的时代烙印。

Zhou Bangyan has been in a subtle relation with Taoism. He was drifting among faraway counties, frazzled and wandered, detaching himself from reality. In Lishui, he was affected by local custom and prevailing trends at that time, and started to worship Taoism. He pursued ＇immortality and peripateticism in spirit. His aesthetics under the influence of Taoist complex presented an awareness of ＂purity＂, creating an elegant wonderland. Zhou Bangyan also had his imagination rush around new frontiers of his mind, but he was not indulged in his fancy world. He always bore a nonchalant, restricted and practical attitude, with sentimental trace of that time.
