国内外理论研究以及西方发达国家和战后新兴工业国家的教育和经济发展的实践证明,教育尤其是专业技术人员的继续教育与区域经济发展之间存在着相互作用的互动关系。重庆市在引领西部经济社会全面发展中具有举足轻重的作用,然而对于重庆来讲,人力资源素质普遍低下是阻碍区域经济发展的一大隐患。文章分析了重庆市专业技术人员继续教育与区域经济发展的互动效应,强调了专业技术人员继续教育与区域经济互动发展的必要性,指出只有两者形成一种良性循环,才能出现双赢的局面。

Chongqing assumes the responsibility of leading the western economic and social development. But the low quality of human resources has greatly hindered regional economic development. In fact, there is an interactive effect between professional technical personnel＇ s continuing education and regional economic development. The paper analyses the interactive effect between them, and puts forward that there will be a double - win if there are virtuous circle forms between them.
