远程开放教育与高等职业教育人才培养模式比较研究

A Comparison of Open and Distance Education and Higher Vocational Education Programs

经过10年的发展,远程开放教育和高等职业教育已成为我国高等教育大众化和高等应用性人才培养的两大途径。本文比较分析了以广播电视大学为主要代表的远程开放教育与高等职业教育在培养目标、课程模式、教学模式和教育理念等四个方面的异同及利弊,提出了四点研究结论和建议。

The last decade has seen the important roles of open and distance education (ODE) and higher vocational education (HVE) in expanding higher education and training higher education graduates with professional skills. This article sets out to make a comparative study of the educational ideals of ODE and HVE, their target students, objectives, curriculum designs and modes of instruction. It is found that ODE and HVE are different in terms of the above aspects. The authors argue that ODE and HVE need to draw on each other. Put it specifically, ODE needs to enhance its vocational dimension in curriculum design and course development, strengthening school- enterprise cooperation while HVE needs to adopt an open approach in access, time and place, giving full play to the use of Information and Communications Technologies, constructing its learning support system as well as sharing learning resources.
