进境台湾信鸽中检出新城疫病

Detection of Newcastle Disease in Carrine Pigeon from TaiWan

１９９７年６月，广东省某公司从台湾引进信鸽２００羽，隔离检疫期间，鸽陆续发病死亡，死亡率达４３５％。经临床检查、病理剖检、血清学试验及病毒分离、致病试验等，确诊为鸽新城疫。根据《中华人民共和国进出境动植物检疫法》有关规定，白云机场动植物检疫局已对该批信鸽进行全群扑杀并销毁尸体。

carrier pigeons were suffered from infectious disease with the mortality of 43 5% during the quarantine period.Diagnosis was made clinically,pathologically and serologycally.The case conformed to be Newcastle Disease by virus isolation and pathogenic test.According to the “Law of the peoples republic of China on the entry and exit animal and plant quarantine”,the whole shipment was destroyed by slaughter.
