Research on instantaneous polarization radar system and external experiment

摘要 Instantaneous polarization radar can obtain radar target polarization scattering matrix (PSM) by using single pulse echo.The system overcomes the defects of inter-pulse interval polarization measurement radar and accurately measures the PSM of the moving target.Thus the capabilities of detection,anti-jamming and target identification can be improved.The present paper reports the first international self-developed instantaneous polarization radar experimental system and,by using this system,the measurement experiments of target polarization characteristics are conducted.The results show that the performance of target instantaneous polarization measurement by different waveforms is good.The basic and common problems in polarization scattering feature extraction and recognition domain are solved.
