丰满水电站更新改造取得显著成效

Outstanding achievements have been obtained in the rehabilitation and improvement of Fengman Hydropower Station

丰满水电站位于东北电力系统南北网中间，供电位置适中，为电网主力电站，对电网经济、安全运行起着重要作用；并承担下游防洪和城镇供水任务。电站原装机容量为554MW，在更新改造中，经两次扩机后装机容量达到1004MW，再加上设备改造增加的容量103．93MW，则总容量为1107．93MW；并对大坝进行了全面加固，消除了大坝主要隐患，保证了大坝安全稳定运行。更新改造后，电站在电网中发挥的作用越来越大，已取得了明显的经济效益和社会效益。

Fengman Hydropower Station, located in the middle of south-north power network of Northeast Power System, has a moderate position for power supply and a backbone power station of power network and has played an important role in economic and safe operation of power network. It also undertakes the tasks of flood control and water supply for the cities and towns in the downstream area. It has an original installed capacity of 554 MW. In the rehabilitation and improvement, it increased generating units by two stages and its installed capacity has reached 1004 MW. Through the improvement of the equipment, its installed capacity has been increased 107.1 MW. Thus, the total installed capacity of the station is 1111.1 MW. Meanwhile, the dam has been thoroughly reinforced so that it eliminates the main damages of dam and guarantees the safe and steady operation of dam. After the rehabilitation and improvement, the station has played more and more important role in the power network and has gained outstanding economic benefits and social benefits.
