Study on Metaphor Embodiment

隐喻体验性是语言范式转变到认知语言学后对隐喻本质的全新认识,体验性是隐喻的根本属性。隐喻体验性是建构于体验哲学、语言学、心理学和神经科学的基础之上的。此外,隐喻的跨域映射具有体验性,隐喻产生理解的基础跨域相似性也是基于身体、心理和认知体验的。由此我们可以得出结论:隐喻不是任意的,具有体验性,是有理据的。

Cognitive linguistics,as a new linguistic paradigm, provides a new perspective for metaphor study, embodiment is nature of metaphor. We analyze foundations of metaphor embodiment from perspectives of philosophy,linguistics, psychology and neurology. In addition, cross-domain mapping and similarity of metaphor based on body, psychology and cognitive embodiment are further explored. Finally, we propose that metaphor is embodied and motivated rather than arbitrary.
