产业集聚与国际竞争力的实证分析——基于中国制造业的面板数据研究

Empirical Analysis on Impact of China’s Manufacturing Aggregation to International Competitiveness

本文在计算中国制造业产业集聚程度和国际竞争力水平这两个指标的基础上,结合钻石模型分析了产业集聚对国际竞争力的影响。结果发现,产业集聚显著地提升了国际竞争力,但这种提升存在行业结构上的差异。产业地理集聚度及其变化对国际竞争力影响的差异可以为政府的产业政策决策提供依据。

Industry aggregation is a typical characteristic of China＇ s manufacturing develop- ment. This paper measures the industry aggregation degree of twenty eight sectors descended from 2001-2008 in China＇ s manufacturing by means of the index of industry aggregation constructed by Krugman. On the basis of the results, the paper analyzes the impact of industry aggregation degree and its change on international competitiveness. The conclusions are as followings： The average in- dustry aggregation degree of China＇ s manufacturing is high and reveals a trend of escalation, and sub-sectors＇ aggregation degree is different. Manufacturing aggregation improves international competi- tiveness as a whole, and sub-sectors＇ aggregation have a different impact. The different impacts on international competitiveness of industry aggregation may provide basis for industrial cluster policy-making for the government.
