This paper introduces the geographical position and regional geological characters of Tahe Oil Field,and through the analysis on hydrocarbon source rock condition,reservoir condition,rock-cap condition and trap condition, points out that the Silurian system of Tahe Oil Field possesses the geological conditions for oil and gas reservoir formation.
