Several principles on slope or landslide stability study are summarized according to current reseach situation and engineering experience from home and abroad. The paper is aimed at the application of methodology. It outlines some problems in landslide stability analysis, such as engineering geology model, dynamical system, relative absolute ness in ness and stability assessment, and accuracy and feaibility of model.
